We're Baaaack!

Dear Mr. Costner,

After an admittedly subpar showing last week, we here at "If I Blog It They Will Come" would like to announce that "We're Baaack!" (you know, like those pesky supernatural forces in Poltergeist II). Our writers got together over the weekend so that we could catch our collective breath and at the same time reload our posting arsenal. Instead, of desperately scouring the Internet every morning for any Kevin Costner related stories we could pounce on, we've got a fresh new crop of posts that will insure that our quest to get you to send a photo of yourself looking at our blog to djayek@yahoo.com will endure a long and healthy existence (or at least for 20 more weekdays or so).

We intend to see this labor of love through to it's natural conclusion. That can only mean one of two things. We grow into old men, continuing to post everyday until our arthritis or carpal tunnel syndrome catches up with our aging joints, or until you see fit to send us a photo of yourself looking at our blog sometime before the first thing occurs. We think the latter is a better option and hope you do agree. After all, we'd hate to imagine ourselves as a bunch of arthritic old men who missed out on the rest of our lives because we were glued to the Internet and we don't think you'd want that kind of guilt on your hand.

As always Mr. Costner, the ball is in your court. And if you're into tennis as much as your character Jay Cochran in the 1990 film Revenge, then we most certainly expect you to hit it back at us with competitive fire, metaphorically speaking of course. In any case, thank you for your time and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
