Defining The Moment

Dear Mr. Costner,

Over the last several days the news has been riddled with stories of your lawsuit against Mahee Worldwide Ventures Inc., who prevented you from performing live with The Kevin Costner Band. Instead of letting the crooked business practices of a crummy promoter get the better of you, you seemed to follow the words of Roy "Tin Cup" McAvoy (we know we've used him before but he's got so many damn good lines) who stated, "This is a defining moment. When a defining moment comes along you define the moment or the moment defines you".

So that's what you did, you defined the moment. You could have packed up your instruments and given up the Music Biz for good, but as we read yesterday at GreenvilleOnline.com, you're getting right back on that horse. When we read that you were putting on a performance with your band on May 19th in Greenville we were beaming with enthusiasm. We here at "If I Blog It They Will Come" were sure that you weren't a quitter and you proved us right. It's that kind of never say die attitude that makes you so damn endearing and compels us to define our own moment by continuing to strive for our goal of getting you to visit our blog and send in a photo of yourself doing so to djayek@yahoo.com. There you go being all inspirational again, Mr. Costner. Can you blame us for our tireless energy and perseverance? We learned it by watching you! Thanks for your time and consideration. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,
The Folks at "If I Blog It They Will Come"
