Hey Neighbor

Dear Mr. Costner,

We recently happened upon an article in Variety about your most recent project, "an animated series that will originate on the Internet during the holiday season in 12 four-minute segments" entitled, The Explorers Club. Congratulations! Though we know a man of your
influence and one of the greatest American Actor/Directors could've easily debuted this project on TV or the Big Screen, you chose to trailblaze on the Internet. True artists cannot limit themselves to one medium, and your entry into the world of the World Wide Web proves this. Would it be incorrect for us to think that perhaps the existence of "If I Blog It They Will Come" had something to do with choosing Internet as your project's venue? We assume so, but the mere thought of it does tickle us.

Now that you have taken up residence on the net we will think of you now as our e-neighbor. And we would of course love to have you over some time (our mom is making chicken and stovetop at 6), and the best way to accomplish that in the e-sense is for you to send us a photo of yourself looking at our blog djayek@yahoo.com. In return we'll bake some of our banana walnut muffins to welcome you to the neighborhood. Heck, you can even borrow our riding mower if you want. That's just what good neighbors do.
