Go The Distance

Dear Mr. Costner,

We here at "If I Blog It They Will Come" are growing a little more disillusioned by the day. We wonder what it's going to take to for you to take us seriously and finally send a photo of yourself looking at our blog to djayek@yahoo.com. Obviously our boyish charm and razor sharp wit have yet to win you over. Nor have the countless hours we've dedicated to our blogging about your films. Sure posting a three paragraph blog every day seems simple but there's a lot more that goes into it than you think. Apparently, It's going to take some drastic measures on our part to finally achieve our goal and get you to send a photo of you looking at our blog. Just last night one of our principal editors came up with an A1, top notch idea.

What is that idea you ask? A pilgrimage. Here's the deal...it's 1000 miles flat to drive from where we are in New York to Dyersville, Iowa (we looked it up on Google Maps), the home of actual Field of Dreams site. We here at "If I Blog It They Will Come" are willing to prove to you that we are absolutely dedicated to our cause with this little road trip fandango so that you might finally realize that this is no joke and feel compelled to send us a photo of yourself looking at our blog to djayek@yahoo.com. However, we are a little short of cash, so in order to determine if this pilgrimage is actually worth it, we're posting a poll to see if our audience is behind us and that someone actually cares about what we're doing. After all, if a tree falls in the woods and no one's there to hear it, does it make a sound.

Anyway, without further ado, the "If I Blog It They Will Come" readers poll:

Of course Mr. Costner, you could nip the whole trip in the bud by complying with our wishes. However, we know that's easier said thandone. Thanks for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
The Road Trippin' Fanatics at "If I Blog It They Will Come"
