The Search for Dry Land

Dear Mr. Costner,
In our own "search for dry land" we here at "If I Blog It They Will Come" feel as though we're recycling our own premises the same way you recycled your own urine in the opening scene of Waterworld. We apologize if some of our posts requesting that you send a photo of yourself looking at our blog to djayek@yahoo.com seem a tad bit redundant with all of the movie metaphors and what not.

However, we'll probably have to keep doing what we're doing until we to stumble upon a floating barge on which a little girl with a tattoo of a photo of you looking at our blog on her back lives. Hopefully, when we find her she won't get kidnapped by Dennis Hopper. We're not really sure why Dennis Hopper might want a photo of you looking at our blog, but all signs point to jealousy. We think that the best solution to avoiding all of this Dennis Hopper kidnapping a young girl business, is to maybe send both Dennis and us folks here at "If I Blog It They Will Come" a photo of you looking at our blog to djayek@yahoo.com (if you have Dennis's email address send his copy there, cause we don't know it). That way everybody is happy and a little girl can go on leading a normal life aboard a floating barge or "Atoll" and we'll all rejoice when we learn that "dry land is not a myth" because you, Kevin Costner (The Mariner), have brought us there. Until then, The Folks here at "If I Blog It They Will Come" will keep aimlessly wandering these broadband high seas searching for what continues to elude us and what only you can provide.

Eagerly awaiting your response,
The Internet Mariners at "If I Blog It They Will Come"
