Message in A Bottle...to Kevin Costner

Dear Mr. Costner,

It's Valentine's Day and the hearts of all of us at "If I Blog It They Will Come" are filled with the spirit of romance. We intend to celebrate the day by treating our sweeties to a little dinner, a little wine, and a viewing of your 1999 film Message In A Bottle. In a way, we think our mission at this blog is very similar to the one your character in that film undertook. You're the figurative Robin Wright-Penn to our figurative Kevin Costner. We send you "messages" (posts) via a "bottle" called "If I Blog It They Will Come, across the great ocean known as the Internet. We only hope you see fit to pick up that bottle that's washed upon your shore and read the note that is this post; a post that kindly asks, "Please Mr. Kevin Costner, seek out the writers of this message in a metaphorical bottle that is this post and go to their blog and send the folks, who are metaphorically the Garret Blake (you) to your Theresa Osborne (Ms. Wright-Penn) from Message In A Bottle, a photo of yourself looking at their message in a bottle (i.e. this blog) and send it to djayek@yahoo.com.
