Swing Vote

Dear Mr. Costner,

While doing our daily shuffle through the trade papers, or more accurately daily surf through the trade websites, we here at "If I Blog It They Will Come" were delighted to happen upon an article announcing your new project, Swing Vote. While this isn't exactly what we meant when we tried to get you to throw your hat into the political arena back in February, we are nonetheless encouraged by your interest in this political comedy. We have no doubt that it will be a biting satire, calling into question the shortcomings of our electoral college. If not, at least it will be funny. Maybe it'll even galvanize your 2012 Presidential Campaign.

In any case, Mr. Costner, we are emboldened by the fact that you are getting right back to work so soon after the birth of your son. We were planning on sitting back and letting you take a breather for the rest of the week, but seeing as you continue to work hard, we will follow your example. This juggernaut will not ease up on our campaign to get you to send a photo of yourself looking at our blog to djayek@yahoo.com until you elect to comply with our wishes or at least until we start observing summer hours.
