Pitching The Perfect Game

Dear Mr. Costner,
As we here at "If I Blog It They Will Come" creep past the 75 post mark (we're at #78 now), we can't help but feel a little bit like the befuddled New York Yankees lineup in the midst of falling victim to Detroit Tigers Hurler Billy Chapel's perfect game in For Love of The Game. We've sent all of our heavy hitters to the plate but all that shows up on the scoreboard after each inning are zeroes. We can't even get a man on base. Mr. Costner, we've yet to figure you out but that doesn't mean we're not going to. Our manager is not quite at the point where he's going to send the young unintimidated rookie to the plate. Right now, we figure we're somewhere in the middle of the 6th inning and you're probably reminiscing about that time you severed your hand in a woodworking accident and Kelly Preston brought you to the hospital...so there's plenty of ways to go before this story ends.
We here at "If I Blog It They Will Come" are confident that we'll be able to eventually knock one out of the park and get you to send a photo of yourself visiting our blog to djayek@yahoo.com. But until that moment, we'll continue to send batters to the plate to try and solve your stuff.
Thanks for your time and consideration. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
The Befuddled Batsmen at "If I Blog It They Will Come"
