Dear Mr. Costner,

When we first heard of your upcoming film, Swing Vote, it sounded like a great project to us. We were willing to figuratively bet the farm that it would be a smash. Looks like you were willing to bet the farm too in a more literal sense. Though we're not exactly sure your house in Aspen has anything farm related on it, it was a bold move nonetheless to put a mortgage on it in order to finance the film.

We are absolutely positive that your faith in this project will be rewarded. However, if by some wild stretch of the imagination Swing Vote underperforms, We here at "If I Blog It They Will Come" would like to invite you, Christine, and the kids to stay with us rent free, at least until you get back on your feet. You see Mr. Costner, now that we're myspacesters we consider you to be our friends and helping each other out in times of need is just what friends do.

It'll be great, we'll make you breakfast (we hope you like Honey Smacks) and you can use our computer just as long as you let us take a photo of you looking at our blog and email it to us at djayek@yahoo.com. Actually, now that we think about it you probably wouldn't have to email it to us at that point because we'd be the ones taking the photo.

However, in the more than likely event that Swing Vote is a resounding success and you don't lose your house, we would think you would honor the spirit of Myspace and our newfound friendship by sending a photo of yourself looking at our blog to djayek@yahoo.com anyway because in order for this blog to be a success we "need" you to comply with our wishes and after all, helping each other in times of need is just what friends do (hopefully prior to filming beginning on Swing Vote).
