Kevin Costner and Modern West Rock Greenville!

Dear Mr. Costner,

We here at "If I Blog It They Will Come" awoke this Monday morning anxious to see the results of the BMW Charity Pr0-Am at the Cliffs in Greenville, South Carolina, in which you participated over the weekend. Much to our chagrin we saw Janet Jones-Gretzky and not Kevin Costner at the top of the celebrity tournament leaderboard. We reasoned to ourselves that Mrs. Jones-Gretzky probably had a lot less affecting her mental game since she didn't have to be ready to play a kick ass concert at the end of the event. It's also rumored that she watched Tin Cup to psyche herself up prior to taking to the course.

While The Great One's better half was busy tearing up the links, the real story was the concert after the tournament when you took to the stage with your band Modern West and rocked downtown Greenville. Mr. Costner, you never cease to amaze us here at "If I Blog It They Will Come". Despite having a film coming out, announcing another starring role, and having a new baby boy, you seem to be running on all cylinders and show no signs of slowing down with both your film and musical careers. You continue to lead by example and we continue to follow the example you set. Like you, we here at "If I Blog It They Will Come" are not slowing down in our quest to get you to visit our blog and email us a photo of you looking at said blog to djayek@yahoo.com. You may have even inspired us to form a roots-rock band to aid in our unending pursuit. Be on the lookout for the debut album from Crash Davis entitled Look at our Blog, Costner. It might drop sometime in August but we've got to write some songs first. We're also looking for a good producer...any recommendations? We were thinking of that guy who did the O Brother Where Art Thou Soundtrack. Anyway, thank you very much for your time an consideration. As always, we look forward to hearing from you soon.
