We Will Not Leave Our Post

Dear Mr. Costner,

We here at "If I Blog It They Will Come" would like to clear up a few misconceptions after yesterday's post. It seems that a few of our readers were confused when we stated that "once May hits, you're as good as gone with all of the promotional touring including star studded movie premieres and talk show appearances...if we don't get you by then, it's not going to happen".

After posting, we got a few inquiries regarding whether or not that meant that our quest had a finite end date of June 1st, the release date for Mr. Brooks. We here at "If I Blog It They Will Come" would like to dispel that ugly rumor. We know it will be tough to get your attention while you're on a promotional tour, but that doesn't mean we're going to give up. Like your character Lt. John Dunbar in Dances With Wolves, we will stick to our assignment and man our post no matter how alone we are in our quest to get you to send a photo of yourself looking at our blog to djayek@yahoo.com. Sure we may have to eventually explore the surrounding regions and mingle with the some Sioux tribesmen, or former Co-Stars (Are you paying attention Two Socks, Timothy Busfield, Mary McDonnell, Gaby Hoffman, and James Earl Jones?) in order to pass the time, but we remain steadfastly dedicated to our cause.

That being said Mr. Costner, we hope to avoid that bleak June period by getting you to comply sooner. Because let's face it...there are more efficient and enjoyable ways we could be spending our time than trying to convince you to send a photo of yourself looking at our blog and when this is all said and done, we're not going to Disney World to celebrate...We're going to Tatanka. Once again, we look forward to hearing from you.
