Dear Mr. Robin Williams,

We were absolutely delighted by your turn as the Russian Idol, Ivan Yakinov on last night's "Idol Gives Back". While we're a little annoyed that Paula and Randy weren't quite delighted by your vocal prowess, that was offset by the lovefest with the usually cynical Simon Cowell. We assume that since you won the Russian Idol competition with your stirring rendition of Vladimir Putin's favorite song, Frank Sinatra's "My Way" you'll be filling a round of press requests.

Well, we're not sure if they've started pouring in yet, but we know there hasn't been this much fanfare over a Russian pop artist since t.a.t.u. In any case we'd like to be the first to extend your Russian alias, Mr. Ivan Yakinov, a formal press invitation from the huge Russian Idol fanatics here at If I Blog It They Will Come. Mr. Yakinov...comrade...We'd like you to take part in an exclusive photo shoot for our site. Our concept for the shoot is that you're so enamored with our blog that you decide to read it. However, there is one catch. We here at If I Blog It They Will Come don't have a photographer lined up, so the Russian Idol superstar himself is going to have to get someone to take a photo of him looking at our blog and mail it to us at djayek@yahoo.com.
