Help Us Save The Blogosphere

Dear Mr. Robin Williams,

While perusing the internets this week, we here at "If I Blog It They Will Come" happened upon your heroic impromptu performance at the BBC World debate on "the future of news" at this year's TED Conference. We were quite impressed, though not at all surprised by the way you took control of the proceedings in lieu of the technical difficulties that were hampering the event. You wowed the crowd with your comedic prowess, rescuing what may have been an all too serious affair from the doldrums, thereby creating a one of a kind experience.

We here at If I Blog It They Will Come have complete admiration for this kind of display. We like to think our blog has a lot of the same elements as a Robin Williams performance. Our chief aim is to rescue the plateau-ing blogosphere from its doldrums with comedic prowess and a one of a kind goal...which just so happens to be getting you to visit our blog and send a photo of yourself looking at said blog to djayek@yahoo.com.

While we think we're doing an admirable job of saving the blogosphere from the aforementioned doldrums...sometimes we fall into a little down cycle of our own and find ourselves in need of some rescuing. Unfortunately, like the BBC World debate, there is only one thing that can deliver us from our difficulties...and it's not a debate on the future of news. What we need is a helping hand from none other than you, Robin Williams. It is our hope that you'll take the metaphorical mic and help us to see this thing through to it's logical conclusion, just as you did with the struggling BBC crew. Only you can help save us so that we may continue to do our part to save the blogosphere. Thanks for your time and consideration. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,
The Kind Folks at "If I Blog It They Will Come"
