Today we here at If I Blog It They Will Come had the distinct pleasure of viewing the trailer for your upcoming film, World's Greatest Dad. It immediately cemented itself with must-see status solely based on your sterling performance snippets. We didn't even need to get to the point in the preview where IndieWire proclaimed it your "best role in years."



Perhaps, the parts that caught our attention the most, were the similarities between ourselves and your character, Lance Clayton. You see Mr. Williams, we here at If I Blog It They Will Come are writers, but so far nothing we've written has ever been published. Much like Lance and Ernest Hemingway, all we've ever wanted to do is write one true sentence. And for the most part, Mr. Williams, that's all we do here at this here blog, write true sentences.

Every single post is rife with true sentences about how we appreciate your talent, and how we wish that appreciation would lead to you visiting our blog and sending in a photo of yourself doing so to djayek@yahoo.com.

Much like Mr. Hemingway, instead of feeling that with each post we are unveiling some great truth, it's more likely that our efforts are akin to scratching an itch in the back of our heads with a shotgun. The fact of the matter is, Mr. Williams, that no matter how many true sentences of admiration we write at If I Blog It They Will Come there is only one true sentence that matters...and that sentence is "Robin Williams has visited our site and sent in a photo of himself doing so."

Mr. Williams, when we can say that sentence and not have it sound like a punchline or pipe dream, then we have truly arrived.
