HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!

Dear Mr. Robin Williams,

We here at "If I Blog It They Will Come" are terribly embarrassed. We missed your birthday. This is not like us at all. Last year, we totally said happy birthday on the actual day it happened. Something about this horrible New York humidity must have gotten to our heads because normally we're very on point with these certain special occasions.

Look, we're going to make it up to you the only way we know how, by showing you that you're still the #1 actor/comedian in our hearts.


So how are we going to do that? Well, we could send you a brand new set of dominoes emblazoned with the Sock and Buskin of Greek mask fame denoting your mastery both comedy, tragedy, and obviously the game of dominoes.

However, in these trying economic times we can't really afford to buy you a gift. So instead our gift to you...our way of showing just how highly we think of your talent, will be our continued perseverance in our goal to get you to send a photo of yourself looking at our blog. It may not be a material token of affection, but in all honesty, if we didn't think the effort to get you to send a photo of yourself looking at our blog was worth it, we would've moved on by now. We like to think that each post is a tiny birthday gift that we unwrap to show that you still are and will remain important to us until the day and well after the day you decide to send a photo of yourself looking at our blog at djayek@yahoo.com. And really...isn't that gift enough? If it's not, we'll buy you something nicer next year. We promise.
