License to Blog

Dear Mr. Robin Williams,
As we here at If I Blog It They Will Come approach the end of summer, we are reminded that it was nearly one year ago when we celebrated our greatest success. As we press on hoping to duplicate that success by pursuing our latest goal to get you to send a photo of yourself looking at our blog and send it to djayek@yahoo.com, we've begun to feel like the formerly lovelorn couple in your film License To Wed after John Krasinski's character forgets to write out his wedding vows and Mandy Moore runs off on her honeymoon without him.
We feel lost and confused. We thought we were doing the right thing and that we were being true to our heart all along, but perhaps we were just in love with the idea of getting you to send a photo of yourself looking at our blog. In short, we're beginning to lose faith in that which we once believed so strongly in. Though our honeymoon period has long been over it is our hope that you can reprise your role as Reverend Frank and help us realize that our faith and love in this blog venture and our purpose over the last several months hasn't been all for naught and that there is indeed something to this quest which we have put so much stock.
While we'd love to say that your parking of a spy van outside our blog headquarters and listening into our conversations would make us feel that validation we so seek, the only true way to restore our faith in that which we have spent so much time building up, is for you to send a photo of yourself looking at our blog. So what do you say, Reverend Frank? Will you help strengthen the union between ourselves, our blog, and our readers? It only takes one photo and one email to help bring this holy union to a state of perfect harmony. We thank you for your time and consideration and look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
The Pious Beings at If I Blog It They Will Come
