The Adventures of If I Blog It They Will Come

Dear Mr. Robin Williams,

We here at If I Blog It They Will Come are starting to come to terms with the unlikelihood of ever achieving our goal of getting you to visit our blog and send a photo of yourself doing so to djayek@yahoo.com. We feel a little bit like Ray Di Tutto, or The King of The Moon, your character in you 1988 film, The Adventures Baron Munchausen. Our heads are floating up in the stars completely separated with our body metaphorically speaking. It's as if despite our lofty aspirations we have no grip on the reality of the situation. Despite our repeatedly insistent admiration of your work we are but a miniature distraction to you, or as your character put it "a mosquito in the Taj Mahal."

While many people would scoff at our persistence in the matter, we'd like to think it's more fun to be a floating head in space than grounded in the reality of the situation. To again quote the King of The Moon, this blog has "no time for flatulence and orgasms." The only thing we have time for is to use this blog as our own three headed electronic bird monster that we've harnessed in order to chase down a photo of you looking at our blog. Hopefully, you don't split off in different directions, causing the bird monster (or our blog) to meet a most embarrasing end. So, Mr. Robin Williams, we leave the continued vitality of this blog in your hands. As always, it's your move.

Sincerely,
The Floating Headless In Space Folks at If I Blog It They Will Come
