Let's Party!

Dear Robin Williams,

A great man once said, "Spring is nature's way of saying, 'Let's Party!' " Do you know who that great man was? That's right, it was you, Mr. Robin Williams! Yes now that spring has sprung as of early this morning, we here at If I Blog It They Will Come are just about ready to bust out our party hats and streamers as the birds chirp a good times tune...preferably something by Prince like "Let's Go Crazy" or "1999".

While we're all for celebrating the renewal of the life cycle and subsequent party that Spring brings and we love us some Prince songs, we are also keenly aware that mother nature doesn't automatically bring life back to web ventures once the Vernal Equinox occurs. Frankly, we think the Internet is a little beyond her reach. Besides she's probably a little too busy reviving the birds and the bees and the flowers and the trees to take notice of our little blog. That's why we're asking you to play the role of metaphorical mother nature and revive the dormant seedling of a blog that is If I Blog It They Will Come by figuratively watering it and giving it lots of sunlight in the form of a photo of you looking at our blog sent to our inbox at djayek@yahoo.com, so that we may once again be in full bloom. Once that happens, we can finally enjoy the local jaybird's rendition of "Rock' Robin" and party til the leaves turn colors...of course, you're invited.
